Create Zoom meetings from Marcomm press events
Connect your Zoom account once, then create a Zoom meeting for a press event with one click and add its link to the invitation.
- 1In Marcomm, go to Settings → Integrations → Zoom and select Connect.
- 2Sign in to Zoom and select Allow. Marcomm asks only to create meetings and to read your Zoom account email.
- 3Open a press event and go to the online meeting link field.
- 4Select Create Zoom link. Marcomm creates a scheduled meeting for the event time with the event title.
- 5The join link fills in the field and is added to the invitation and the calendar entry.
To stop sharing, select Disconnect on the same page, or remove Marcomm AI in Zoom under Apps, Installed Apps.
Marcomm requests only two permissions: creating a meeting for you and reading your Zoom profile, which is used to show which account is connected.
Marcomm does not read your calendar, recordings, contacts or participants, and it does not store the meetings it creates. The access token is stored encrypted.
Each person connects their own Zoom account. A connection is visible only to the person who made it.
