Blog settings, languages and domain
Publish or hide the blog, set its name, languages and time zone, require review, import posts and connect your domain.
- 1Open Settings and select Blog.
- 2Under General, set the blog name and description, the default language and the time zone, and switch Publish the blog on when you are ready.
- 3Under additional languages, choose the languages you want published posts translated into. Translation uses credits, and each language gets its own address prefix.
- 4Turn on Require review before publishing if posts must be approved first.
- 5To use your own address, open Settings, then Domains, and connect a subdomain such as
blog.yourcompany.com.
Set the time zone before you schedule posts, because it decides when a scheduled post goes live.
Turning the blog off hides it from readers without deleting anything. Your posts, subscribers and settings are kept.
The domain page shows the DNS record to add at your domain provider and checks the connection for you. You can connect or disconnect up to 10 times per hour.
You can import posts from other blogs on the Import page. Deleting the whole blog is in the danger zone at the bottom of the settings and needs a typed confirmation.
Images for the logo, favicon and default share image are set under Images.
