Design your blog

Change the look of your public blog with a live preview, from the logo and menu to fonts, colors and page layouts.

    Open Blog and select Design.

    Pick the page you want to edit at the top of the preview: home, post, author or the 404 page. Switch between desktop, tablet and mobile to check each size.

    On the Common tab, set the logo, menu, header button and announcement bar under Header, then the Banner, Footer, Styles and Font.

    Use the Home / Category, Post, Author and 404 tabs to tune cards, layouts, which elements show, and the not found page.

    Select Save. Your public blog updates when the save finishes.

Pick a layout on the Home / Category tab first. Colors and fonts then apply to every page.

The preview updates as you edit and nothing changes on your public blog until you save. If you try to leave with unsaved changes, you are asked whether to keep editing or leave.

Styles hold your color palette, link style, text sizes, and the look of buttons, cards and forms. Choose a font from the list or add your own web font.

For full control you can write your own code for the header, banner, footer or page layouts. Scripts are never allowed in this code, and unsafe parts are removed when you apply it.

FAQs

Can I undo my changes?
Yes. Sections with a reset button return to the defaults, and leaving without saving discards the draft changes.
Is the design the same on phones?
The same design adapts to each screen. Use the device buttons above the preview to check them before you save.
